Flightplan 2005

A futuristic fictional passenger plane is represented in this movie by a large 1/10 scale miniature built by Grant McCune Design.

The model features in many live action digital composites as a background element on the ground as well as some flying shots and was also flown on wires for a landing sequence. At one point while it is sitting on the ground there is an explosion in the nose causing the nose wheel to collapse and the fuselage to split.
