Another A. Arnold Gillespie supervised series of miniature aircraft shots. The single engined BT-13 miniature that is chasing was built to 1/12 scale. The twin engined aircraft model looks to be at a smaller scale.
The last aircraft sequence depicting a rough landing could well be a physical effect using a full size aircraft. The environment looks like the real thing. The aircraft itself has a subtle yawing that suggests it is on wires. If it is a miniature the model must be quite large.

The following sequence looks to be full size however in motion there is a subtle wobble to the aircraft that looks like it is on wires. Unlike the previous sequence, the trees and the reflections in the water look completely real so it may well be a full size crash.
