This Bond film has a Flying car, namely an AMC Matador, which in the flying shots was a radio controlled model with a 39 inch (approx 1m) wingspan. The flying model was supervised by John Stears.
The rest of the miniature work was supervised by Derek Meddings which consists of a model of the partially sunken RMS Queen Elizabeth in Hong Kong Harbour for a night shot, an unfolding solar reflector, and the interior and exterior of the villains base. Both of these are blown up at the end of the movie. The first shot of the unfolding reflector appears to rise up from behind a still photo cutout of the actual location. Later shots have the top of the rock spire as a miniature.
