Some impressive miniature aircraft work in this film supervised by A. Arnold Gillespie along with Donald Jahraus. There are a number of crash sequences and shots of wings shearing off that fracture and break up in a convincing way.
There is an air race sequence where the miniature shots use rear projected backgrounds that are not always in sync with the banking and direction of the models.
